What should I expect during our first meeting?

During your first meeting with a stylist at Madeline Aubrey, you will have a casual conversation about your wardrobe and style goals. The stylist will take this opportunity to learn about your current wardrobe and understand what has motivated you to seek a style consultation. This is helpful in developing a Look Book and style recommendations that fit your needs. 

What is the cost of your services?

Our pricing depends on the customer’s needs, but the average rate is $100/hr. Contact us to learn more and get a custom quote!

What services do you offer as a personal style consultant?

Madeline Aubrey Styling offers Wardrobe Consultations, Closet Audits. Special Event Styling, Personal Shopping, Photo Shoot Styling, Look Book Creation and more! Contact us to learn how we can cater our stylist services to meet your needs!

What is a look book, and how will it benefit me?

​A look book is a curated collection of photographs that showcase various fashion styles, outfit combinations, and trends. It serves as a visual guide, helping individuals understand how different pieces of clothing can be paired together to create cohesive and stylish looks. For anyone looking to refresh and empower their wardrobe with the help of a professional stylist, a look book is an indispensable tool.

​Do you offer virtual consultations?

While in-person consultations are preferred so our stylists have better access to review our clients closet, we are happy to accommodate to requests for virtual consultations and can set them up via Zoom. 

How long does a typical styling session last?

Styling sessions are a minimum of 1 hour, but can extend longer depending on the client's needs. 

Do you provide ongoing style support, or is it a one-time service?

Madeline Aubrey Styling is happy to provide on-going support with our client's wardrobe and styling needs. Schedule a free consultation to learn more about our solutions. 

Will you work with the clothes I have, or will I need to buy all new items?

We love giving clients new ideas of how they can wear the clothes they already have and reviving clothes that clients may not know how to wear or "pull off." However, if they don’t fit or are too worn/stained/damaged, we'll recommend replacing items or adding pieces that are missing from our clients wardrobe. All shopping recommendations are with consideration of the clients budget and are detailed in the Look Book. 

Can you help me prepare for a specific event or special occasion?

Yes! We offer consultation for casual wear, work wear, special occasions and even photoshoots. Let the experts at Madeline Aubrey Styling take the guess-work out of your next big event or special occasion so you can look and feel your very best!

What if I don’t like the style recommendations you provide?

Style recommendations are catered to what each client is seeking to achieve with their wardrobe and lifestyle. If the recommendations are not what the client was expecting, we can discuss how it differed from their expectations and re-evaluate. That being said, a personal stylist can be much like other personal service providers like hair stylists, so compatibility and communication is key to success. As such, if we believe you are better suited with a different stylist, we are more than happy to refer you to a different stylist who may be a better fit. You deserve to work with someone who understands you and your needs!

How often should I update my wardrobe?

There is no right or wrong timeline for updating your wardrobe, but a good rule of thumb is to review your wardrobe seasonally. This can also vary depending on where you live or what your lifestyle is like. 

Can you help with body positivity and finding clothes that fit well?

Madeline Aubrey Styling was founding on the belief of finding beauty in every shape and size! Our stylists work with women of all ages, body types, and ethnicities. We would never discriminate services for any reason and encourage body positivity and self-love with every client we work with. 

Do you offer any packages or discounts for multiple sessions?

Packages and group discounts are currently a work-in-progress! Keep an eye on our Instagram to be the first to hear of new promotions and discounts. 

Do I need to have a large budget to work with a personal style consultant?
